Contact and Vibration Pickup
The TX C411-L6 captures mechanical vibrations from an instrument body rather than operating as a conventional air-pickup vocal microphone. Attach it to a suitable area of a compatible acoustic instrument using a supplied 3M adhesive pad.
Wireless and Wired Connection Options
- Wireless mode: connect the integrated Mini 4-Pin Female connector to a selected compatible Shure wireless bodypack system. Wireless equipment is sold separately.
- Wired mode: use the included Mini 4-Pin to XLR power adapter with compatible audio equipment. Enable 48 V phantom power on the connected input. Phantom power is supplied through the included adapter, not directly to the pickup.
Confirm the bodypack model, connector wiring and available microphone power before purchase. A matching physical connector does not guarantee electrical compatibility.
Applications
Designed for direct attachment to compatible acoustic guitar, violin, cello, double bass and other acoustic instrument surfaces. Placement affects the captured vibration character. Not intended for direct voice pickup.
Test the adhesive on an inconspicuous area and confirm compatibility with the instrument finish or coating before installation.
