Passive 1-In/4-Out Signal Distribution

The SQ104 distributes one compatible balanced XLR audio input to four XLR outputs. The direct output follows the input signal path, while outputs A, B and C provide isolated signal paths for connection to compatible mixer, recording or audio-distribution equipment.

The SQ104 is a passive distributor. It does not provide active gain, independent level control or mixing.

Connections and Controls

• Input: 1 x 3-pin XLR female
• Direct output: 1 x 3-pin XLR male
• Isolated outputs: 3 x 3-pin XLR male, labeled A, B and C
• Ground Lift: Independent LIFT/GND switch for each isolated output
• Phantom routing: Independent ON A, ON B and ON C switches
• External power: Not required

48 V Phantom Power Routing

The SQ104 does not generate phantom power. When used with compatible equipment, the A, B and C switches allow 48 V phantom power from the corresponding connected mixer inputs to be routed toward a compatible microphone. Confirm the connected equipment, cabling and microphone requirements before enabling phantom power.
