Two-Channel Passive Audio Isolation

The SQ22 provides two corresponding analog audio channels for compatible mixers, amplifiers, recording equipment and AV systems. It is designed to help isolate ground-related noise between connected devices while preserving a straightforward signal path.

Noise-reduction performance depends on the source of the interference, cabling, grounding and connected equipment. The SQ22 cannot guarantee removal of every type of audio noise and cannot repair defective equipment.

Inputs, Outputs and Controls

• Input 1 and Input 2: XLR / 6.35 mm combo input sockets
• Output 1 and Output 2: 3-pin XLR male outputs
• PAD: -20 dB attenuation applied to both input channels
• GND: Ground Lift control to help reduce ground-loop hum
• Passive operation: no external power required

Connection Guide

Connect the source device’s compatible analog outputs to Input 1 and/or Input 2. Connect Output 1 and/or Output 2 to the matching inputs on the receiving equipment. Engage the -20 dB PAD when attenuation is needed. Use Ground Lift when appropriate to help reduce ground-loop hum.
